The International Congress-Emory University
Cognition Satellite Meeting

An Official Satellite of the
INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON SCHIZOPHRENIA RESEARCH

The Manchester Grand Hyatt
San Diego, California

Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th 2009

The International Congress-Emory University Cognition Satellite Meeting will occur on Friday March 27th (PM) and Saturday March 28th (AM) in conjunction with the INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON SCHIZOPHRENIA RESEARCH. Like the meetings before, we are an official satellite of and immediately adjacent to the International Congress. Please click here to view the Program Schedule.

There are several features that should be particularly interesting.

Poster Session and Reception: A large-scale poster session, with a reception for all attendees will occur on Friday evening.

Experts Teaching Sessions: We will continue our tradition with two half-days of presentations by leading experts on specialized topics in cognition. The Topic of the Saturday Morning teaching Session is: New Developments in Cognitive Neuroscience. This session features world leaders in this area and will also have a strong teaching component for non-specialists. The Saturday PM Session is: lifetime course of schizophrenia: From elementary school to the elder years. This session also features world leaders in the area and presents broad perspectives on the premorbid, prodromal, and lifetime courses of schizophrenia from a cognitive and functional perspective.

Co-Sponsored Paper Session: During the ICOSR meeting, there will be a paper session, co-sponsored by the Satellite. Attendees of the satellite meeting are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentation at both the cognition satellite and the co-sponsored oral presentation session at the main meeting, or for presentation at either meeting alone. Note that you must adhere to the ICOSR deadlines to be considered for this session.

Poster Abstract Submission:

We welcome poster abstracts on all aspects of cognition in schizophrenia, broadly defined.
