Scientific Presentation Submission Formatting Guidelines 2015
Submission DEADLINE EXTENDED to 13 October 2014.
The following are basic submission formatting guidelines for all abstract submissions. More in depth information may be found on the individual Submission Guidelines pages: How to Choose Your Role, YI Travel Award Application, General Oral/Poster Abstract, Symposium Proposal, Workshop Proposal.
CHARACTER LIMIT: 2500 characters for the text of your submission.
TITLE: Should be mixed case, brief, and indicate clearly the nature of the investigation.
ABSTRACT BODY: Organized as follows: (a) Background – a sentence describing the purpose of the study; (b) Methods – a statement of experimental design or methods used; (c) Results – a summary of results, presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusion; and (d) Conclusion – a statement of conclusions reached.
DISCLOSURES: Specific disclosures must be entered in order to comply with ACCME AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM and to finalize your submission.
PRESENTATION TYPE, TRACT, AND CATEGORY: Select the appropriate presentation type for your submission. Make Cognition Tract or Prodrome Tract selection here. Select the appropriate category using the drop-down menu provided.
INSTITUTIONS/AFFILIATIONS: Enter all the institutional affiliations for your authors prior to adding the authors.
AUTHORS: Enter all authors in the order they should appear in the heading of the abstract. The First Author will be the Contact Author and the Presenting Author.
KEYWORDS: Three keywords are required and up to 5 keywords may be selected.
TABLES: You may add 1 table to your submission. Each row of the table counts as 50 characters.
ABSTRACT PROOF: Carefully check the proof of your abstract. Make sure all special characters and formatting are displaying properly in your proof. Ensure that your submission does not contain spelling, grammar, or scientific errors as it will be reproduced and published exactly as submitted.
